The tension
Sports products rarely fail because they lack features. They fail because every stakeholder wants the product to be theirs: the player, the organiser, the brand, the operator. Quixera sits in that overlap.
My job was the consumer-facing layer (the part people actually touch) while keeping the other sides of the ecosystem from leaking into the experience as noise.
What I designed
I worked across product flows and interfaces to make end-user journeys clearer and more engaging: how someone arrives, understands what’s on offer, and moves through the product without feeling the machinery underneath.
- Mapped consumer journeys against stakeholder requirements so conflicts showed up early, not in QA.
- Designed interfaces that privilege the live moment (what’s happening, what to do next) over administrative residue.
- Kept the visual language athletic without becoming a template sports app.
How I think about it
On multi-sided products, “user-centred” is incomplete. You have to be honest about whose job the screen is doing. The craft is making that honesty feel simple.
